MISSION
Our mission is to build a community of like-minded people, who can make a difference by supporting our main goal of raising awareness on women’s rights and our specific goal of protecting women subjected to physical and/or sexual violence – through our first campaign, WYHT.
We achieve this by building an International Digital Art Gallery (IDAG) with NFT collections (photography, PFP and 3d content).
Each freewomen.foundation campaign will be made up of multiple NFT collections. You can purchase an NFT from the collection of the cause you want to support and, at the same time, support an organization that fights the good fight for said cause.

Would You Hit That c.1 (the first collection) – how it works
• Anyone holding a Founding Mother NFT is a member of the freewomenDAF
• 10% of sales will go back to the freewomenDAF members – through the collective treasury
• 30% of sales will be used to fund other art projects focused on empowering women
• The Founding Mother will be available in a total supply of 1001 editions, thus giving the possibility of 1001 holders to join the freewomenDAF and reclaim their collectibles
• There will be 110 NFTs dropped for the WYHT c.1, all unique and with different properties, thus being rare and with higher benefits (WL, exclusive events, merch, surprises)
• The first NFTs in the WYHT c.1 collection will be available for private sale and auction, during our team’s presence at NFT events & during physical galleries listings. We reserve our right to gift a small part of the collection to those people or entities that significantly help our project grow

INNOVATION
freewomen.foundation is the first decentralized autonomous foundation (DAF) worldwide.
A DAF is a foundation based on the DAO rules, i.e. being represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the foundation’s members and not influenced by a central authority.
At freewomen.foundation you can securely support causes empowering women, on a blockchain-based technology platform, by purchasing NFTs encapsulating digital content (photos, PFP, 3d content). Each collection will represent a specific cause that you can support.
STORY
Did you get slapped today? One in three women did. Let’s slap back, hit’em with some awareness.
“Would you hit that?” (WYHT) is the first NFT campaign of our DAF and it depicts a collection of women who posed nude for the greater purpose of raising awareness on physical and/or sexual violence against women. When you see a photo of a beautiful naked woman and get asked if you ‘would hit that’, you most likely will say ‘damn, right!’. But, in truth, there is more than one meaning to this question, and every one in three women experiences it quite literally.
• According to WHO estimates, globally, around 1 in 3 (30%) of women worldwide have been subjected to either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence, in their lifetime. That is, across their lifetime, around 1 billion women are subjected to physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner or sexual violence from a non-partner.
• Even more, globally, as many as 38% of all murders of women are committed by intimate partners.
• WHO estimates that 1 in 4 young women, aged 15-24 years, who have been in a relationship will have already experienced violence by an intimate partner by the time they reach their mid-twenties.
After all this, tell us, asked the same question, would you still hit that?
WYHT’s goal is to auction the NFT collection of artistic nude photos and use part of the proceeds to finance art projects that can help raise awareness or funds to help organizations working in the field of violence against women. And you have ownership of the photos!
Why nude? Because a large part of the violence committed against women is sexual in nature. Oh, have you noticed the bottles?
All the models we collaborated with for this collection are leading ladies in the artistic world (actresses, dancers, writers, models, singers). We aim to work with prominent female artists in all our future NFT collections. We envision launching such collections worldwide and scale this project globally in the next few months.
